This course will prepare babysitters for starting or improving a babysitting business. Students will learn what a typical babysitting job is like and how to provide proper care for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school age children. The course consists of several sections of content which include topics such as CPR, communicating with parents and guardians, identifying and responding to behaviors, bedtime, games and craft ideas, cooking safety and cleaning, diaper changing and babysitting laws. Additionally, this online babysitting course will provide guidance on how to handle emergencies including first aid and CPR basics.
